There are now hundreds of churches, youth clubs and schools around the world running the course. Youth Alpha is not presented using videos. It is designed for Youth who need something more interactive and faster paced. The Youth program follows the same weekly topics as the regular Alpha Course, but is presented live and is designed to be relevant to the younger guest.

Specially-designed manuals for Youth Alpha are aimed at two age groups: 11 - 14 and 15 - 18 years. The syllabus is the same as the main Alpha course - it's based on the book "Questions of Life" - and training manuals give guidelines on how to communicate the course to youngsters.

Alpha for Youth is most successful when it's part of an on-going Alpha program - the best leaders are those who've been involved with the main Alpha course in their churches.
