Our Vision
Our vision is a statewide network of churches delivering the Alpha course to thousands of Iowans. By establishing the Alpha course as the evangelistic tool of choice in churches throughout the state of Iowa, we will impact communities, nursing homes, assisted and independent living communities, prisons, college campuses and our military installations.
Meet the Iowa Regional Director
 Jerry Fagerland joins Alpha USA as both the Regional Director for Iowa and the National Director for Alpha for Seniors.
Jerry and his wife, Lin, have been married 25 years and have four daughters, two son-in laws and three grandchildren. Three of their daughters (Danette, Beth and Katie) live near them in Cedar Rapids, Ia and one (Stacey) lives in Burnsville, MN with her husband and son. Jerry spent 30 years in the corporate world. After twenty-two years with Hewlett Packard Co., he left to start a senior outreach ministry in 2002. It was through this ministry that he utilized the Alpha Course in nursing homes, assisted living and independent senior living communities. Jerry is very excited about the opportunity to grow Alpha in lowa and the new specialty ministry Alpha for Seniors, across the nation. |
