Our greatest and ultimate goal is to give every person in Western North Carolina, regardless of age, background or status, an opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus Christ while attending an Alpha Course near where they live, work or study or in prison.
Benefits of a local Alpha Office
The unique role that each regional office provides for the local churches and pastors is:

To support and resource the outreach ministry of the local church as it extends the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire local region

To support the local Alpha courses that are running in churches, homes, coffee shops, workplaces and organizations

To develop new Alpha courses in the region, and assist churches in starting new courses

To provide regional training for course leaders and pastors
-
To develop and facilitate regional evangelism strategies, including many “Alpha Invitation” or “Alpha Taste”, to penetrate every segment of the local region with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Each regional office and director serves the churches and organizations in its area by establishing personal relationships with the pastors, Alpha practitioners and leaders. The close proximity of each office and its director to its community enables Alpha USA to provide face-to-face contact with Alpha churches, pastors and leaders, personalized support in running optimal Alpha courses, regional training events that are contextualized for its community, and local networking and resourcing connections between churches, pastors and leaders.
The national Alpha USA office, in turn, provides each regional office with the HR support, database and software programming, administrative and development services, publications, and resource infrastructure needed to support the thousands of Alpha courses that are currently operating in the USA throughout every region.
