Support Alpha DC

Would you like to get more involved with Alpha?

There are several ways you can support and encourage the work of Alpha in the DC region: Pray, Work, Volunteer, Run a Race, or Give Financially.
We also want to hear how we can help you!

Pray

Prayer is the lifeblood of everything we do at Alpha.
The Alpha Prayer Guide

  • We serve around 170 churches and organizations across DC, VA, MD and WV.
  • Pray generally, or follow us on Twitter to receive specific reminders.
  • Pray as a church, and be encouraged by how much God is up to here in the DC Metro area!

Looking for creative ways to encourage your church to pray?

Pete Grieg’s short book 'The Alpha Prayer Guide' is full of useful ideas.
Order here, or pick up a copy at the next Regional Training Day.

Team Alpha

Team Alpha is a really fun way to help Alpha courses grow in your area. Teams enter events (5Ks - marathons - hikes - bike rides) to help raise the visibility of the Alpha course, start conversations, invite people to courses and raise funds for their regional team or specialty course (e.g. Campus, Youth, Prisons, etc).  Click here for more details.

Donate

Alpha uses your financial gifts to help bring more people into contact with Jesus in a relaxed, relevant and life-transforming way.  Your support means that we can help more local churches and organizations to do Alpha better and more effectively.  In the UK, Alpha is described as being partly responsible for reversing the decline in church membership.
Wouldn't it be great to see that happen here too?!
