About vintage
With the growth of Alpha and related ministries in the United States, creating an internship focused on training young leaders in the Alpha approach was a vital next step. To meet this growing challenge, we have designed an internship called Vintage Alpha, which is "a season of growth, where all the elements necessary for proper development and maturity converge."
Vintage Alpha is a nine-month intensive internship consisting of college students, college graduates and young working professionals from around the country. The Vintage Internship challenges young adults to grow in their Christian walk through personal discipleship and practical application. Each Vintage Alpha intern will learn how to effectively implement youth and campus Alpha courses and assist in regional and national activities. Vintage is an essential way to provide core leadership training, and develop leaders who will effectively impact our high schools, colleges and the marketplace with the Gospel.
The Vintage Internship is located at Westminster Chapel in the city of Bellevue, Washington, just east of Seattle. Westminster Chapel, a church with a remarkable Alpha history, hosts the Vintage Internship. Since its first Alpha course in 2001, Westminster Chapel has seen 3,000 people attend the course with about 750 people making decisions to follow Jesus Christ.
