The Vision

The vision for the Global Alpha Training initiative is to release global Alpha expertise to meet the Alpha training needs in places yet to run courses.

We want churches to go from everywhere to anywhere so that every church around the world has the opportunity to be trained to run the Alpha course.

What is GAT?

Global Alpha Training (GAT) is localised training delivered in a localised style. It has been designed to equip and empower people from churches that run and love Alpha courses to train others where there is a training need:

•where ever there is a training need around the world (Alpha matched)
•with mission partners in other countries (Self matched)

The Challenge

In the last 10 years 11 million people have attended an Alpha course. God has given Nicky Gumbel a vision to reach 100 million people through Alpha over the next 10 years. To achieve this vision, the growth in the number of Alpha courses around the world needs to accelerate, at the same time ensuring the courses already running continue to develop.
