What Is Alpha?
 The Alpha course is a 10-week experience where people from all backgrounds come together for a conversation about the relevance Jesus has for their lives today. A 2004 Barna Group research study showed that in an average course, nearly half of those attending made a first-time commitment or recommitment to Jesus Christ. At The National Conference, we’ll converse about how you can use the Alpha course in many settings—churches, prisons, the military, workplaces, university campuses and many other places—to see people reenergized around an authentic faith in Christ.
