Charles Burress
Successful Business Executive & Community Leader in Denver
Charles Burress grew up in the slums of the Inner City, one of 12 children. Now as a successful businessman and fellow Christian, Charles and his wife travel the world leading people to his saving grace and being an encouragement to help them share their belief in Jesus.
Charles is President and CEO of NAL Financial Corporation, providing equipment leasing and financing in the US and overseas, for the past 30 years. Charles has also served as a consultant to the national and international banking community. Prior to NAL, Charles has been a principal investor, officer or director for numerous ventures and companies; including Village Bakeries, serving as President and CEO, Douglas County Disposal (principal shareholder of regional Trash Collection company), Consumer Money Center (Chairman of the Board and principal shareholder of consumer loan company), TEC Light (CEO and principal shareholder in a venture with consumer products), Inter-Linc Health Care (shareholder, board member and secretary/Treasurer of company in medical claims processing), Trailway Enterprises (owner of commercial Real Estate company) as well as oil and gas related investor/operator projects.
Beyond an extremely successful business career, Charles has given back to the community through his extensive service work. He has spoken at various colleges and high schools on what it takes to be successful in the current business world and life. Served as Vice President of Operation Education, an organization set up to support the University of Cincinnati’s governing body. Financial director for Citizens of Good Schools, organize to upgrade the educational value of the local school districts in Ohio. He serves as a speaker and member for the Gideon’s International organization for the past 40 years. He leads Prison Fellowship through serving local jails and prisons and currently serves as an Alpha Advisor in Panama.
A graduate from the university of Cincinnati with a dual degree both in Business and Education, Charles and his wife Kevin have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. |
