Worship Leader

The Worship Leader plays a very important role at a training event, and so it is important that this person has a certain level of experience, confidence and capability. They will need to have a high level of inter-personal skills to be able to work with local worship leaders to integrate Alpha style worship and local worship into the programme. Coaching on how this might work in practice will be given during the GAT Team Training. Should a team not be able to provide a worship leader, the receiving NAO will work with the Local Team in the receiving country to ensure that they have a local worship leader for the event.

Worship leader Key Skills/ Competencies:

• Confident and capable worship leader
• Comfortable with possibly leading a time of singing in the spirit
• Confident with the technical side
• Ideally, experience in leading worship on an Alpha course
