Training Events
“Taste of Alpha” events introduce pastors and leadership teams to the Alpha course.
If you're new to Alpha and want to learn how to get it started in your church, there are two ways to get started:
1. Attend a Local "Getting Started" Training Event, or National Alpha Conference
Training events that are scheduled in our region are listed below. If none of these work for you, PLEASE CHECK similar training events in other regions around the country. Click HERE.
The best way to take advantage of a "Getting Started: How to Run Alpha" training event is to bring a small team of others from your church or organization who are interested or may be potential leaders.
2. Visit or Connect with a Resource Church
In the Twin Cities region there are several churches that are running the Alpha course effectively and welcome visitors. By visiting and connecting with a Resource Church you will get a "taste" of how the course actually works in a church. In other words, how it feels, what the environment is like, what kind of food is served, what the worship is like, and so on. There are several to choose from.
