What we do

Almost everyone has seen a bread salesman.  But have you ever met a yeast salesman?  We're certain they exist but what they market is meant to be an "unseen presence" in a high-quality product.
 
This metaphor captures what Alpha USA/ Twin Cities is about.  The Alpha course is being "baked" by many different local churches, individuals and ministry organizations in a variety of settings.  Our role is to serve as that "unseen catalyst" helping each and every course succeed in extending the kingdom of God to more and more people. 
 

Our primary focus is to serve the network of Alpha churches and practitioners by providing:

• Regional training events and workshops
• Resources to run and promote the Alpha course
• An annual city-wide "Alpha Invitation" media campaign to build public awareness 
• Regional gatherings for encouragement and inspiration
• Teams of Alpha Advisors for coaching and mentoring
• Regional prayer initiatives and gatherings
• Regional strategies to help churches reach new people groups with the Gospel
• An extensive on-line library of Alpha resources, tips, and training
• Regular electronic communication to keep everyone informed and updated
• A regional network of pastors, churches, and organizations that use Alpha
• Direct consultation to address critical and strategic needs in running a course
