The warmth of hosting a Home Alpha
We have had four Alpha courses in our home with anywhere from 6 to 17 guests. It has been successful due to the personalization and hospitality you can give to making guests feel special and cared for without the pressure of a big production or holding it in a large hall where it`s more difficult to set the welcome mood.
We whole-heartedly believe that people are more open to hearing about the Gospel when they are truly treated with respect and made to feel special and loved. In order to touch more people, we are going to offer 3 groups of Alpha at the same time so we can touch more people and train more Alpha leaders.
God gave me the acronym of WIN in training Alpha leaders:
W - The Welcome factor (making people feel special)
I - The Interaction factor (no one is made to feel threatened or pestered)
N - The Next, what`s next after Alpha (people telling others about Alpha and starting their journey with God).
