Love

It is the love of God working through the Alpha team that draws the guests back each week.

Content

Biblically based
The course is systemically laid out to unfold the basic teachings of the Christian faith from a biblical perspective.

Integrity of the Message
Alpha has been tested over the past two decades and has been changed at various times to achieve maximum results. Users of the material are asked to teach the material as it is written. Any changes to the content or flow of the course should be to contextualize it to the audience that is being targeted.

Prayer
Prayer is the foundation, fuel and power behind the course. Alpha courses thrive as all aspects are surrounded and undergirded with prayer.

Openness to the leading of the Holy Spirit
It is the Holy Spirit that will bring about the conviction, revelation and transformation for each seeker. It is the Holy Spirit that enables the information taught to become the experience of the heart.

Environment

Humility
Treat others as if they were a friend or a guest in your home.  Have a servant and humble heart toward each guest. Value who they are and what they have to say.  

Acceptance
Seek to create an environment that is non-threatening, non-judgmental, non-confrontational, and accepting for all types of people with all types of lifestyles, backgrounds and denominations.

Respect
Seek to show respect and honor by keeping confidentiality, being honest and operating with integrity.

Quality
Do everything with the highest excellence possible.
