A4M Resources Scholarship
Alpha for the Military (A4M) is pleased to announce that military scholarships are available for Alpha USA resources/ materials and they can be applied for as needed for both combat assigned as well as non-combat assigned units.
Scholarships are granted on both a 'needs' and a 'grace' basis.
Biblicaly, in 2 Corinthians 8:13-15, Paul discusses the need for generous sharing of resources on the basis of need. Our plenty will supply what others need when they are hard pressed; and vice versa. Thus, from a 'needs' perspective alone, those purchasing Alpha courses who can afford to pay for them, ought to do so. By so doing, scholarships can more easily be afforded and extended to those who cannot pay - that all will be blessed.
It should be noted, though, that a 'needs and equality approach' to scholarships does not take precedence of A4M gracefully blessing an armed forces unit wanting to run Alpha courses, simply, for exmple, to say thank you to them for serving their God and their country. Other reasons to extend grace and blessing may also occur.
Should a scholarship be extended on either a 'needs' or a 'grace' basis, please be advised this does not apply to post and packaging costs.
Determination of the scholarship is the responsibility, solely, of the Office of the National Director of Alpha for the Military in prayerful consultation with the Central Support Group, Alpha USA. Please contact the A4M National Director in the first instance to discuss your plans and how payment for resources is to be made and whether there is a need for a partial or full scholarship.
For the scholarship to be an option, the Alpha course in question must be an official part of the Comand/Base/Ship/Unit etc. Religious Program. Courses run in civilian churches with military persons as course guests; or courses run as part of a local church's colaboration with their local military base, unit etc. may be eligible for a scholarship provided the guests on the course are predominantly active duty military and that the course director personally verifies the accuracy of this to the A4M National Director. Should Reservists, National Guardsmen, Veterans, Retirees, military families be guests on a course held in a civilian church, course directors are asked to discuss their particular circumstances with A4M's National Director so that consideration can be given as necessary to a 'needs and grace' approach.
The National, A4M can be contacted through 800.362.5742 or by email by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
